Getting Started

Put a sock (or wrist sweatband) over the microphone end of the phone to reduce the wind noise.

Tap the word Record.

Turn the sock covered microphone end of the phone to point straight towards your mouth.
Hold it about one to two inches away.
​Breathe in and out deeply and through your open mouth until the phone vibrates.

The Total Power (TP) tells you how hard you are breathing.  A TP value of 107 or higher means that your volume will likely overpower a low background noise.    

If you don’t like a recording, make another.  You do not need to delete the questionable recording.
